Childline Gauteng is a registered organisation with robust internal organisational systems, structures and processes to implement programs and projects to the satisfaction of clients and donors. I.e. Financial transparency, monitoring and evaluation systems for all programmes and projects, good governance and organisational systems.
Childline Gauteng is continuously assessing risk, quality, procurement, financial, human resource and information management systems to ensure proper management and delivery of projects. We are affiliated to Childline South Africa which operates nationally. The national office, Childline South Africa is based in Durban. Each provincial Childline is registered as an independent and autonomous non-profit, responsible for their budget and operations.
We have a Black Beneficiary Base percentage of 99% and have a BBBEE SED recognition percentage of 100%. Childline Gauteng also has SA Revenue Service Section 18A status, which permits the issuance of a Section 18A Certificate for tax savings. We are registered as an NPC (2015/173 593/08) and an NPO (040-010 NPO). The VAT number is 462 025 5515.
